When it comes time to clean out the garden,or just make a bouguet, here's a way to use those "tourist shells".....................
Now,how tropical is that?

This is such a stunning way to showcase our shells, I always put one in the guestroom when company comes. Your bloom is outstanding, as is the photos!

I want to start posting shell crafts on my blog, they are such fun and can be as easy as something like this or more intricate. I've always love those Sailor's Valentines. I'd never attempt one, but I admire those who do. Have you ever been to the Bailey Shell Museum in Sanibel?

So pretty. There is something about shells that is so addictive. I keep gluing them on to things. The dog hates the ones on his tail, but is otherwise okay with it.

Well, that is VERY tropical and extremely beautiful and I cannot believe that Linda at Lime in the Coconut has not done it yet! I LoVe it! I have used cranberries at Christmas time but never would have thought of shells. Hmmm, here in the desert I guess I could use cactus thorns...
